The hotel bar, lounge and cafe are decorated in natural tones, ideal for relaxation.

The hotel lounge, bar, and cafe areas are decorated in neutral relaxing tones with strokes of red and pink. The newly built three-star hotel is located in the center of Athens, opposite the central rail and metro stations at Larissis Station. Enjoy your exploration of Athens using the convenient metro located just a few steps from the hotel. Ariston Hotel's convenient location affords you the opportunity to visit renowned attractions such as the Acropolis, Parthenon, Plaka, Parliament Building at Syndagma Square and the Olympic Stadium. The hotel is also a short walk to Omonia Square, the old market place, and the Archaeological Museum.
Our location offers convenient access to:
Central rail stations – Larissis and Peloponnese Stations
Metro (line 2) direct to Syndagma Square and Acropolis
Metro (line 2) connecting to metro to Pireus port and Olympic Stadium
Suburban “Proastiakos” express train to Olympic Stadium and airport
Bus and trolley terminals to the center and suburbs of Athens
Archaeological museum (10 minutes on foot)
Omonia Square and the old market (15 minutes on foot)
Travel Information
At the airport you can take the Metro which comes every 30 minutes. At the front of the train it should have the indication " EGALEO ".
Do not take the suburban railway (PROASTIAKOS in Greek) which comes through the same platform, because it is a bit more complicated.
You get off at "SYNTAGMA" station which is quite central, it takes about 40 minutes and you will see that most people get off there.
As come out of the train,you have to change platform and take the red line. Look around for signs " AGIOS ANTONIOS ".
Go up the escalators and you will reach the platform. Take the train and get off at the 4rth stop which is " LARISSA STATION ".
Come out off the station and you will see a main avenue. The hotel is max 100 meters from the station on the main avenue.
Remember:
There is a special ticket if you take the train from the airport which costs 8 euros.
Mind your personal belongings while you are in the train or the platforms.
All signs are also in English.

The main concern I had was the smell of cigarette smoke coming out of the aircon, it was horrible, like someone is smoking in the room. I felt so sick!
